Yogesh Kumar Srivastava

Dr. Yogesh Kumar Srivastava is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad. His research focuses on ultrafast terahertz photonics, spintronics, and superconductors, utilizing light to investigate nonequilibrium states in quantum materials for applications in information processing and sensing.

• Education: Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore).

Research Expertise: Explores active-passive metamaterials, high-Tc superconductors, topological insulators, and chalcogenides using terahertz probing. Designs devices for ultrasensitive sensing, quantum circuits, and ultrafast communication.

Laboratory: Leads the Ultrafast Terahertz Photonics Laboratory, equipped with advanced systems for studying charge carrier and spin dynamics in emerging materials.
