Yining Wang is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, University of Texas at Dallas. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management at the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business. His research focuses on machine learning applications in revenue management and operations research, particularly sequential decision-making under uncertainty, dynamic pricing, and reinforcement learning.
Education: PhD in Machine Learning (Carnegie Mellon University, 2019), advised by Aarti Singh; B.Eng. in Computer Science (Tsinghua University, 2014). Notable internships include roles at Microsoft Research (New York City, Redmond), Symantec Research Labs, and MIT’s EECS department.
