Dr. Yingping Wang is a Chief Research Scientist at CSIRO, Australia, specializing in land surface modeling and biogeochemistry. He earned his PhD in Plant Ecophysiology from the University of Edinburgh (1988) and has been with CSIRO since 1990. He led the development of the Australian Community Land Surface Model (CABLE), used globally by over 200 researchers. His work integrates canopy physics, carbon-nitrogen-phosphorus cycles, and model-data fusion techniques.
