Yingchun (Irene) Wang is an Associate Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Houston Downtown. She earned her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management & Organizational Behavior from the University of Minnesota and holds a BA in Economics from Renmin University of China.
Research Interests: Strategic Human Resource Management, Compensation, and Organizational Behavior. Her work has been published in journals such as Human Resource Management Review and funded by the SHRM Foundation and the University of Minnesota. She has collaborated on National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER)-funded projects, with her compensation research featured in The New York Times.
Teaching Experience: Courses include Compensation & Benefits, Organizational Behavior, Training & Development, and Staffing & Selection. She has extensive experience managing large-scale survey research projects.
