Dr. Ying Zhang is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Department of Radiation Oncology, specializing in the Division of Medical Physics & Engineering. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor and therapeutic medical physicist at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Board certified in therapeutic medical physics by the American Board of Radiology (DABR), her expertise lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and radiation therapy.
Dr. Zhang holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Tianjin University, with advanced training at Yale University’s Therapeutic Radiology Department as a Ph.D. exchange student. She completed postdoctoral fellowships and residency training in medical physics at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
