Ying Wei

Ying Wei is a Professor in the Department of Biostatistics at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. She is also an Affiliated Member of the Center for the Foundations of Data Science and the Education Affiliated Member, reflecting her interdisciplinary engagement in data science and academic research.

Her research focuses on the development and application of advanced statistical methods, particularly in the area of quantile regression. Her work has had significant impact in public health and medical research, including modeling pediatric growth charts and addressing challenges related to measurement errors and missing data.
