Dr Yiluyi Zeng is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisation Studies at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her research focuses on precarious workers' experiences, particularly freelancers, examining institutional frameworks that promote meaningful and decent work environments.
Research interests include:
- Freelance and gig economy work structures
- Decent/sustainable career development
- Structural inequality in creative industries
- Cross-cultural comparative studies
Current collaborations with arts organizations in Slough explore systemic challenges faced by creative freelancers. She co-authored discussion papers on:
