About
Yilin Wang is a Junior Professor at IHES (Institut des Hautes Études Scientifiques) in Bures-sur-Yvette, France. Her research bridges complex analysis and probability theory, focusing on random conformal geometry, Schramm-Loewner evolutions, and connections between Teichmüller theory and mathematical physics.
Wang co-organizes the analysis and probability seminar at IHES and serves as editor for the Bulletin and Journal of London Mathematical Society. Previously, she was a C.L.E. Moore Instructor at MIT (2019-2022) and Strauch Fellow at MSRI. She earned her PhD from ETH Zurich under Wendelin Werner in 2019 after studies at École Normale Supérieure de Paris and University Paris-Saclay.
