Yijing Su

Yijing Su, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Oral Medicine in the Department of Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Her research laboratory investigates the intricate mechanisms governing gene expression in a cell type-, brain regional-, tissue- and species-specific manner under physiological and pathological conditions.

Dr. Su's research interests focus on fundamental neuroscience questions with particular emphasis on adult hippocampal neurogenesis, single-cell transcriptomics, and epigenetic regulation of neural development.
