Yichuan Ding

Yichuan Ding is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the National University of Singapore's School of Computing. His research spans operations research, optimization theory, and healthcare operations management, with publications in top-tier journals including Operations Research, Mathematics of Operations Research, and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management.

Dr. Ding's research focuses on applying advanced mathematical optimization techniques to solve complex real-world problems, particularly in healthcare systems. His work bridges theoretical optimization methods with practical applications in resource allocation, appointment scheduling, and kidney exchange systems. He has developed novel approaches to analyzing matching queues, semidefinite programming relaxations, and stochastic optimization problems.
