Dr. Yi-chieh Chen is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical and Process Engineering at the University of Strathclyde, leading the Measurement and Analytics Team. He holds a PhD from the University of Manchester (2008) and a BSc from National Tsing Hua University (2002). His research focuses on spectroscopic techniques, particularly Raman and surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, applied to nanostructure materials for optical sensing. Current projects include developing UV-vis-NIR spectroscopy platforms for process analysis and biomedical diagnostics.
