Yi Yan is a Research Fellow at the NALab (Network Analysis Laboratory), Stanford University, working on machine learning for high-dimensional data analysis in clinical settings. They earned their Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering (under Electrical Engineering) from Tsinghua University in 2024, supervised by Prof. Ercan E. Kuruoglu. Prior to joining Stanford, Yi Yan held academic roles as a Visiting Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley (2022–2023), and obtained an M.S. from the University of Southern California (2019) and a B.S. from the University of California, Santa Barbara (2017), both in Electrical Engineering.
