Yi Liu

Yi Liu is an Associate Professor and Academic Head of the Supply Chain Management & Information Systems Academic Area at Rennes School of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from ETH Zurich (2014), M.Sc. in Communication Systems from EPFL (2009), and B.Sc. in Communication Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University (2007). His research focuses on consumer behavior in digital contexts, privacy in mobile apps, and sustainability strategies in travel industries.

Key research interests include:

• Privacy assurance mechanisms in cross-cultural contexts
• Impact of digital detox on tourism
• Ethical consumption in air travel
• Data-driven marketing strategies
