Georgia Yfantidou is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physical Education & Sport Science (DPESS) of Democritus University of Thrace. Her primary research focuses on sport tourism, sustainable tourism, and the integration of physical activity into educational and recreational frameworks. She holds a Ph.D. in Sports Tourism and Recreation (2009) and a Master’s in International Hospitality and Tourism (2014), with additional postgraduate studies in Physical Activity & Recreation (2004).
