Yev Haidamaka

Yev Haidamaka is a Professor of Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), serving since 2019. He holds an M.F.A. in Illustration from SCAD and a B.A. in Visual Art from the National Technical University of Ukraine. A prolific freelance illustrator since 2011, his clients include Penguin Random House, the World Health Organization, and the European Union Association.

His expertise spans illustration techniques, book arts, and graphic design education. He has curated courses such as Sketching for Urban Planners and Architects (Kharkiv School of Architecture, 2018) and led workshops at TUMO Armenia and Projector Design School.

Awardees include the Red Dot Communication Design Award (2017) and a Fulbright Graduate Exchange (2016). His professional portfolio includes roles as a graphic designer, art director, and administrative assistant at the Society of Illustrators NY.
