These works reveal increasing attention to geopolitical energy challenges, post-conflict energy recovery, and innovative financing approaches for the global energy transition.
Melekh has significant professional experience beyond academia, including his current consultancy role with the World Bank on Energy Transition Technologies and a seconded position as Senior Executive Officer at the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Prior to UCL, he served as Country Programme Manager at the Swedish Development Cooperation Agency and Energy Attaché on Climate and Environment at the Embassy of Sweden in Kyiv, where he managed development cooperation projects on energy and climate.
