Yanting Guo

Yanting Guo is an Assistant Professor of Biology and the Endowed Chair of Sustainability Studies at Hood College. With a background in biology, biodiversity, and sustainable agriculture, she focuses on sustainability research, teaching, and community collaboration, exploring the food-water-energy nexus, organic waste recycling, and soil quality improvement through closed-loop agricultural systems.

Her research integrates themes of environmental justice, climate change, and renewable energy, aiming to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges. She actively engages with communities to promote grassroots sustainability initiatives and closed-loop agriculture.
