Yannis Galanakis

Dr Yannis Galanakis is an Associate Professor in Classics (Classical Art & Archaeology) at the University of Cambridge, affiliated with the Department of Archaeology and the Faculty of Classics. He serves as Director of Archives and is a Fellow and Director of Studies at Sidney Sussex College. His research spans Aegean art and archaeology, with a focus on mortuary practices, social complexity, and the socio-political dimensions of the past.
