Dr. Yanela Ndabula is a researcher at the Centre for Higher Education Research, Teaching and Learning (CHERTL) at Rhodes University, focusing on student development, postgraduate support, and higher education transformation. Previously, she held researcher and lecturer roles with the Critical Studies in Sexualities and Reproduction research programme at Rhodes University.
Her research interests include multilingual education, peer learning in undergraduate education, and epistemological transformation in South African higher education. She has contributed to publications on translanguaging and academic voice, with a focus on empowering marginalized students through inclusive pedagogical practices.
