Yan Lu

Yan Lu is Professor of Hybrid Materials for Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion at Friedrich Schiller University Jena and co-director of Helmholtz Institute for Polymers in Energy Applications (HIPOLE Jena). She also holds positions at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin and University of Potsdam. Her research focuses on developing sustainable battery alternatives like lithium-sulfur batteries using hybrid materials that combine organic/inorganic chemistry and biochemistry.
