Yan Li

Yan Li is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of East Asian Studies at the University of Vienna, teaching modern Chinese language, translation practice, and academic language proficiency courses from her office at Spitalgasse 2, Room 2F-O1-06, 1090 Vienna.

Holding a BA, MA, and PhD, her research centers on foreign language didactics, curriculum design, and e-Tandem learning methodologies. She actively contributes to the EU-funded L3TASK project, pioneering digital tandem partnerships for language acquisition.

Her teaching portfolio includes Modern Chinese 1a/1b, Speaking Practice, Academic Language Proficiency, and Listening/Speaking courses across 2024W, 2025W, and 2025S semesters.
