Yaffa Elling

Yaffa Elling is a part-time faculty member at the School of Applied Human Sciences, Concordia University. With a diverse educational background, including a BA in Psychology from Concordia University, and master's degrees in Counselling and Educational Psychology from McGill University and Social Work from Carleton University, she brings extensive expertise to her teaching.

• Education: BA in Psychology, MA in Counselling and Educational Psychology, MSW in Social Work
• Teaching Interests: Child welfare law, trauma-informed practices, crisis intervention, community development, and equity advocacy
• Professional Experience: Over two decades working with at-risk youth, crisis intervention, child welfare services, and instruction across CEGEP, vocational, and university levels
