Yadi Fernandez Sweeny

Yadi Fernandez Sweeny is a Professor and Chair of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, Western University of Health Sciences. With a career spanning over three decades, they hold dual expertise in clinical anesthesia (CRNA) and psychology. Their academic leadership roles include serving as Course Director, Psychiatry Clerkship Director, and leading neuropsychiatry education blocks. Education includes a PsyD from Pepperdine University and an MS in Anesthesia from UCLA.

Research focuses on mental health well-being, psychological safety in workplaces, gender equality leadership, and mind-body medicine.
