Xinyun Lu is a Professor and Department Chair at the Medical College of Georgia, specializing in Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine. Her research focuses on neuropharmacology, neuroinflammation, and cognitive neuroscience.
She holds the GRA Eminent Scholar Chair in Translational Neuroscience and has a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Washington State University (1998). Her work explores the interplay between neurodegenerative diseases, stress-induced behavioral deficits, and neuroendocrine mechanisms.
