Xina LI is a Full-Time Assistant Professor of Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University. She holds a Ph.D. in Management (Strategy) from INSEAD (2025), a Master in Management Science from INSEAD (2021), an M.Sc. in Applied Economics from Peking University (2019), and dual B.A. degrees in Economics and Public Administration from Peking University (2017).
Her research focuses on ESG integration, strategic leadership, incentive design, corporate governance, and digital transformation. Key publications include studies on CEO influence on corporate culture (Organization Science, 2024), CEO humility and corporate social irresponsibility (Organization Science, 2024), and methodological improvements in panel regressions (Strategy Science, 2023). She is a research affiliate at the Wharton ESG Initiative and has received accolades such as the Edgar Schein Best Student Paper Prize Runner-Up (2022) and SMS Annual Conference nominations (2024).
Outside academia, she is a former semi-professional table tennis player (second-level national athlete in China) and enjoys racket sports including tennis, squash, and badminton.
