Overview
Xin Xing is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Virginia Tech. He holds a PhD from the University of Georgia (2018), an M.S. and B.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China (2013, 2010). His research focuses on statistical methodology development in bioinformatics, machine learning, and computational biology. He has received grants including the NSF ATD (2022-2024) and NVIDIA GPU Grant (2019).
