Xin Chen

Xin (Sherry) Chen is a Lecturer in Law and serves as the Associate Director for Collection Strategy at the University of Pennsylvania's Biddle Law Library. She oversees the development, maintenance, and stewardship of the library's collections across all formats and jurisdictions, coordinating collection evaluation projects and strategic planning initiatives.

Chen holds multiple advanced degrees including:

• J.D. and M.S.L.I.S. from University of Michigan
• M.S. in Risk Management & Insurance from Georgia State University
• B.A. in English Literature from Shanghai International Studies University

She maintains inactive membership in the State Bar of New York. Prior to joining Penn in 2023, she spent ten years as Legal Information Librarian and Lecturer in Law at Boston College Law Library.
