Xiao Li

Dr. Xiao Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Santa Clara University, School of Engineering. His research focuses on blockchain technology applications in distributed systems (Edge Computing, IoT, Federated Learning), machine learning, and privacy-preserving frameworks. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas (2024) and was awarded the Jan P. Van der Ziel Engineering Fellowship there.

• Blockchain architecture optimization in resource-constrained environments
• Machine learning model development for cryptocurrency analysis
• Cybersecurity disclosure sentiment analysis using unsupervised techniques
