Xiang Ma

Xiang Ma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire's College of Arts and Sciences. His office is located in Phillips Science Hall 141, and he can be contacted via phone (715-836-4425) or email (maxiang@uwec.edu).

He holds a Ph.D. from Utah State University and a B.S. from Southern University of Science and Technology in China.

His research focuses on cutting-edge computational paradigms, including:

• Federated Learning: Privacy-preserving distributed machine learning.
• Mobile Edge Computing: Optimizing cloud resources for mobile devices.
