Xavier Vendrell

Xavier Vendrell is a Professor of Architecture at Auburn University's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture. He holds a Titulo de Arquitecto from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and is a licensed architect in Spain. His professional practice includes Xavier Vendrell Studio in Chicago/Barcelona, with extensive international collaborations.

Research interests focus on landscape urbanism, integrating site-specific design with cultural and environmental contexts. His work emphasizes the synthesis of programmatic requirements with contextual sensitivity in public spaces, housing, and urban infrastructure.
