Xavier Rivas Guijarro

Xavier Rivas Guijarro is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, located in Tarragona, Spain. His research focuses on differential geometry and mathematical physics, particularly the application of contact geometry to dissipative mechanical systems and field theories.

He earned his PhD in Mathematics from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2021, with a dissertation on Geometrical aspects of contact mechanical systems and field theories.
