Xavier Ramos Morilla is a Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). His research focuses on measuring economic inequalities, poverty, and the intergenerational transmission of economic advantage. He has led numerous international research projects, including DYNPANDEMIC (2021-2021) and PERCINEQ (2020-2022), exploring topics like perceived inequality, corruption perceptions, and policy impacts.
