Dr. Xavier L'Hoiry is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Social Policy at the University of Sheffield’s School of Sociological Studies, Politics and International Relations. He serves as Director of Student Recruitment and Marketing and co-chair of the Sheffield University Policing Research Group (SUPRG). His research focuses on organized crime, policing practices, surveillance, and restorative justice, emphasizing collaboration with practitioners to ensure policy impact. He holds a PhD in Criminology from Teesside University, an MA in Criminology from Leeds, and an LLB in Law from Durham.
