Xavier Escudero is a Professor of Literature and Civilization of Contemporary Spain at the University of Artois, affiliated with the Faculty of Modern Foreign Languages and the Department of Spanish Literature and Civilization. His academic career includes a doctoral thesis on Spanish literary bohemia from the Sorbonne (2006) and authorization to supervise research (2017).
