Woojin Kim is an Assistant Professor of Political Economy at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. His research focuses on political polarization's impact on policies and professional behavior, as well as the influence of social forces on consumers and voters. He holds a PhD in Economics from UC Berkeley (2024) and a B.S. in Economics from Duke University (2015). Prior to Stanford, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research (2024–2025) and a Research Fellow at Harvard Kennedy School (2023–2025).
His work bridges political economy and behavioral economics, examining topics like policy diffusion, voter mobilization, and healthcare polarization.
