Wonmin Sohn

Wonmin Sohn is an Assistant Professor of Landscape Architecture and Program Director for the Master of Environmental Design at the School of Planning, Design and Construction, Michigan State University. She holds a BS from Seoul National University (2011), MLA (2015), and Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Sciences (2019) from Texas A&M University.

• Research focuses on enhancing nature-based systems for climate adaptation
• Expertise in geospatial analytics, urban flooding, and green infrastructure

Her work has secured funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Environmental Protection Agency, and other public/non-profit entities. She leads interdisciplinary collaborations across environmental engineering, urban planning, and horticulture.
