Wonbin Sohn is an Assistant Professor of Management and Faculty Director of the Master of Human Resource Management Program at the Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin, and a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Swarthmore College.
His research focuses on employment arrangements, team staffing/composition, and leadership development. He has examined these themes across industries like automotive, IT, retail, aviation, and finance. Recent work explores creative teams' decision-making processes, time pressure impacts on creativity, and goal orientation effects in teams.
