Wojciech Gajewski

Dr hab. Wojciech Gajewski, prof. UG, is an Associate Professor at the University of Gdańsk, Faculty of History, Institute of Anthropology, and serves as Head of the Division of Religious Studies. He coordinates both bachelor's and master's programs in Religious Studies.

His research focuses on the socioreligious situation in the Roman Empire (1st-3rd c.), organization of the early Christian church, Pauline epistles, and Pentecostal/Charismatic movements globally and in Poland. Publications include monographs on household structures in New Testament contexts and analyses of Pentecostal spirituality.

Selected publications examine topics like ecclesiology in Greco-Roman societies (2013), charismatic movements' theological frameworks (2012), and historical anthropology of religious offices (2009). Research spans theological analysis, historical sociology of religious institutions, and contemporary religious revivalism.
