Witold Rewera

Dr. Witold Rewera is an Assistant Professor at the Department of International Security, Institute of International Relations, within the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. He is a lawyer, diplomat, and habilitated doctor of law, with expertise in international law, medical law, Poland’s security policy, and cybersecurity.

• Education: Habilitated doctor of law (social sciences specialization).
• International Experience: Visiting professor at universities in Pisa, Turin, Buenos Aires, and others.
• Research Focus: Application of international law in cyberspace, intellectual property rights, and security policy. His work spans linguistic minorities, migration, and judicial protection in international contexts.

Scientific Contributions include publications on linguistic minority rights, European identity, and legal frameworks for refugees. He has participated in international conferences across Italy, Spain, and Brazil, focusing on mediation and constitutionalism.

• Awards: Silver Medal for Long Service (President of Poland, 1995–2001).

Current Projects involve preparing a monograph on legal certainty and judicial protection (Lublin, 2025). He collaborates with Brazilian institutions on public law and electoral law research.
