Winetta A. Oloo

Winetta A. Oloo is a Professor in the Department of Counseling and Family Sciences and serves as the Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs at the School of Behavioral Health, Loma Linda University. She holds a PhD (2006) and MS (2003) in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University.

Her research focuses on recovery-oriented care, clinical supervision, adolescent development, and treating severe mental illness. She has presented on AI ethics in academia, reflecting her engagement with emerging technologies in clinical practice.

Dr. Oloo is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). She actively contributes to community initiatives through board memberships at Bayfront Youth and Family Services and B.L.U.E. Christmas Services, as well as her role in Loma Linda University’s International Behavioral Health Trauma Team.
