Windy Alonso

Windy Alonso is an Associate Professor at the School of Nursing within the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her work focuses on heart failure, rural health, and exercise adherence, aligning with NIH-funded research. She leads the HEART Camp study, addressing physical activity in heart failure patients, and has secured over $4 million in grants, including a five-year NIH R01 award.
