Prof. Dr. Willy Dörfler is a full professor at the Institute for Applied and Numerical Mathematics within the Faculty of Mathematics at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He leads the research group on Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations and teaches advanced courses including Adaptive Finite Element Methods and Modeling and Simulation of Li-Ion Batteries.
