William R. Kwochka

William R. Kwochka is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Western Carolina University, part of the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from North Carolina State University and a BA in Chemistry from Grinnell College. His career includes postdoctoral research at the University of Colorado at Denver as a Camille and Henry Dreyfus Fellow, and a sabbatical at the University of Edinburgh collaborating with Professor David Leigh on molecular machines.

• Boron complexes, Rotaxanes, Supramolecular systems, and STEM education.

• Joined Western Carolina University in 1994 after postdoctoral work. Taught organic chemistry and conducted research in molecular systems. Spent 2003/2004 on sabbatical in Scotland.
