William Morcom

William Morcom is a Lecturer in Law at the University of Worcester's School of Law. He serves as the Student Progression Lead for the LLB law programme and Director of the Mooting Club, leading extracurricular mooting competitions. His research focuses on land theory, insolvency law, and legal education techniques.

Education qualifications include a Bar Practice Course with LLM (In Profectum), a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education (PgCert LTHE), an LLB Law (First Class Honours), and a BA in Politics and International Relations.

Research Interests: Commercial sector law, land theory, insolvency law, and innovative student engagement strategies. He teaches Land Law and the Law of Torts.

Awards: Nominated for the 2024 Worcester Student Union’s Student Choice Award.

Roles: Module leader for Land Law (2023/24), advocate for advocacy development, and mentor through mooting competitions.
