William Mead

William Mead is a Continuing Lecturer in the Department of Design at UC Davis, teaching since 2016. He holds a BFA from Parsons School of Design and an M.Ed. from Leslie University, with certifications in secondary art education. Mead teaches courses in interactive design, web development, and UI/UX, emphasizing creativity and practical skills.

His research focuses on integrating technology with creative expression, particularly through generative coding projects and conceptual artwork. As an artist member of Axis Gallery since 2017, he regularly exhibits interactive installations exploring computational creativity.
