Dr. William Mack is Professor of Neurological Surgery and Director of Neurointerventional Programs at Keck Hospital of USC. He specializes in cerebrovascular disorders including stroke, aneurysms, and arteriovenous malformations, performing both open and minimally invasive procedures.
As Principal Investigator of the Cerebrovascular Laboratory, he leads NIH-funded research on ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke pathophysiology. His work focuses on developing novel neuroprotective strategies and translating laboratory findings to clinical applications.
Dr. Mack completed neurosurgical residency at Columbia University and fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology at UCLA. He serves on editorial boards for Journal of Neurointerventional Surgery and World Neurosurgery.
