Dr. William Godwin is a Visiting Senior Research Fellow in Philosophy at King's College London. He holds a first-class BA in Philosophy from University College London (UCL), a BPhil from Oxford University, and a DPhil in the philosophy of language under supervisors including Michael Dummett and David Wiggins. His research focuses on philosophy of language, twentieth-century philosophy (emphasizing Frege, Wittgenstein, and Russell), and the philosophy of law. He practices as King’s Counsel (KC) and founded a philosophy group at Middle Temple to explore philosophical questions in legal practice. At King’s, he is affiliated with the Department of Philosophy within the Faculty of Arts & Humanities.
