William Brian Reeves, MD, FACP, FASN is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio (UTHSCSA), a position he has held since May 2016. As a practicing clinical nephrologist and scientist, Dr. Reeves leads one of the institution's largest academic departments while maintaining an active research program and clinical practice.
Dr. Reeves' research focuses on acute kidney injury (AKI), with particular emphasis on its mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment.
