Dr. William Banks is Professor of Mathematics at the University of Missouri, specializing in number theory with over 100 research publications. His work focuses on prime numbers, Riemann zeta function, Dirichlet L-functions, and sieve theory. He received the Provost Outstanding Junior Faculty Teaching Award in 2003.
His current research investigates Riemann zeta function properties, exponential sums estimation, and connections between number theory and cryptography. Dr. Banks teaches multivariable calculus, number theory, and specialized courses on the Riemann zeta function.
Beyond academia, he operates BINKBALLS, a company that sells his artwork to support charitable causes.
