Jiri Wiedermann is a Professor of Computer Science at Charles University, Prague, and has served as Director of the Institute of Computer Science at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic since 2000. He previously held the position of Associate Professor at Charles University from 2000 onwards.
Research interests: His work spans foundational areas of computer science, including computational complexity, neurocomputing, and non-standard computing models. He has contributed to the understanding of sequential and parallel computational systems, embodied cognition, and artificial life.
